Enaam Ahmed claimed a second win of the weekend and led home a Carlin 1-2-3 in the final race of the BRDC British Formula 3 championship at Brands Hatch.
It was a lights-to-flag victory for Ahmed – who led home Cameron Das and James Pull – and has extended his championship lead over the course of the weekend to be within touching distance of the title.
Douglas Motorsport’s Callan O’Keeffe finished just off the podium in fourth, ahead of Ben Hingeley – the Fortec driver enduring a torrid weekend after two DNFs in the previous two races.
His team-mate Nicolai Kjaergaard came home sixth while Lanan’s Toby Sowery could only salvage seventh after fluffing his start and dropping down the order off the line.
Krishnaraaj Mahadik, who was awarded the race two win after Sowery’s exclusion due to a technical infringement, continued his impressive return to racing this year with Double R Racing by finishing eighth.
Chase Owen in the Hillspeed with Cliff Dempsey Racing car finished ninth and Jeremy Wahome driving for Chris Dittmann Racing rounded out the top ten.
